Welcome to the CEG Education Series
This series assumes you are passionate about learning, have many questions, and are excited to embark on the journey of understanding everything you need to successfully navigate the cannabis industry.
There is no set time limit for how long it takes to complete the learning series. Each module can take around 60 minutes depending on the individual. Plus, our knowledge tests allow members to retake them as many times as needed. This provides members the opportunity to ensure they achieve an 80% understanding of the content.
Each level covers different themes and topics helping to feed your curiosity, and improve your understanding of this extraordinary plant-based business. At the CEG we want you to be confident so you can engage in meaningful and beneficial cannabis discussions*.
* To be clear these are not accredited, nor are they regulatory courses, but will include information about how the Cannabis Act impacts current cannabis company practices, product development, and consumer experiences.

LEVEL 1: Master Class
By going through this master class you will be exposed to almost all aspects of cannabis, helping you to understand the business of cannabis as it relates to Canada, and the Cannabis Act.
This course will give you a significant overview to support your journey as you go through the more detailed sections to achieve your Cannabis Education Guild recognition of completion.

Learn about the way consumers experience cannabis. Explore cannabis products on the market today and what will be available in the future.
Included in the Product Knowledge Deep Dive level are three modules:

LEVEL 3: The Big Four
The Big Four enables you to deep dive into different areas from how it’s made to why it works, and what it takes to produce cannabis that matters to the market
This course is an intellectual experience, rather than a highly technical one. Its aim is to support you to best understand process and commercial opportunities as they pertains to all that is, and can become the business of cannabis.
Included in the BIG FOUR level are five modules:

LEVEL 4: Social Impact
Social impact means any significant or positive changes that solve or at least address social injustice and challenges. What does this mean for the future of community and business practice?
This course unpacks the (S) in ESG and teaches key fundamentals to creating authentic social impact in the cannabis industry. Social impact is vast, which is why this course includes everything from trends and financial incentives to supply chain harmonization and transparency, along with supporting tools like SDGs and other modern frameworks moving beyond traditional CSR.
